2014 Winter Olympics Games known as Sochi Winter Olympics scheduled from February 7th to 23rd, 2014 Sochi, Russia. This is the major international multi-sport event. And then dolphin has become the final official mascot of 2014 Winter Games. In December 2009, Sochi Winter Games logo was released. And according to the IOC president the logo’s design aims to signify the crucial role of the Winter Games in uniting the youth.

There are total 98 events in 15 winter sport that disciplines during the Games. Some new competitions are come up for genders including mixed-team luge, biathlon mixed relay, women's ski jumping, half-pipe skiing, ski and snowboard slopestyle, mixed-team figure skating and snowboard parallel slalom.  Events are of two clusters of new venues first is an Olympic Park located in Imeretinsky Valley and the Games indoor venue that is located within walking distance in resort settlement of Krasnaya Polyana.
